"This was my first time back at hotel. It was called the Highwayman Inn, it was a highly clean, kept and well loved placed to stay, with a reasonable rate. I find the prices high, and the quality inn needs a lot of love put into it. The cleanliness was low, their were people drinking open alcohol in bottles and cans while sitting in the hot tub, the sauna in the women’s bathroom is being used as storage, mold on the hot tub windows, missing many ceiling tiles, the sink in the men’s pool bathroom...

"I stayed at this resort on March 29 and was impressed by the lady at the front desk. She was super nice, professional, and provided excellent service. "Everything was great. We went during the power outage to be able to have warmth and showers. All was as expected. Room numbers were a bit confusing… had to search a bit to find ours but eventually did. Shower was a bit confusing to turn on. Some direction in the room would be helpful , we had to call down to the front desk to get help. "

"Hotel suite was very nice and clean and quiet. Only thing dishwasher was not emptied from previous guest. Also we booked a sauna and when we went for our booked time there was no one there providing direction or keeping wood going. Was not that hot. Also we were told there were robes as t the change room/lockers but no one there and no robes. Dinner at cliffside was delicious and nice atmosphere. Nice to be able to walk there from the hotel. "Our stay at The Cranberry Moon Inn was fantastic. This B&B was convenient located in Bala, which allowed for us to enjoy a variety of winter activities in the area. The B&B was beautifully finished. You really can see the thought that was put into how it was planned and decorated. The owners, Kim and Doug, were excellent hosts. They really catered to our every need. "

"The studio apartment is in a lovely complex - beautiful in the fall with the changing leaves and a nice residential type area to walk around in. It’s close to some nice family activities - tree top trekking, horseback riding and I understand there are skiing options nearby in winter. A highlight for me was that it was walking distance to the Vettä Nordic spa. Dining in the area was a bit limited, but I was able to order Uber Eats when I wanted it (from Barrie). "Great stay! Wish the stove was a little stronger with some cutting knives as well. But otherwise we had a great time!"

"Host was fantastic,Great communication! Location was super close to horseshoe valley and provided a great indoor/outdoor pool for the kids. The rooms were super clean and provided lots of towels, pillows and other household supplies. Onsite washer dryer is a huge bonus. We will definitely be back next year!!"

"When we were arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was cleaning our parking spot of the snow. Super friendly and wonderful check-in. The room was very quaint and clean (other than a bone under the bed). All was wonderful, other than there were very minimal receptacles, but we travel with enough cords to deal with our CPAP and Laptop. The Wi-Fi for the laptop kept dropping out, but other than that, we will most certainly stay again. "
