"Good location near Station can walk undercover to it. We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. We stayed at 5 of Toyoko Inns...

I wasn't expecting much, but if this was the price range of Daiwa hotels in other Prefectures, and if the quality is consistent then I'd definitely keep booking! First of all, the hotel seems pretty new, or at least recently renovated. Interiors are modern & up to date. Staff are friendly & helpful. "Room was small but functional for one person and one can easily open a large suitcase on the floor which is not possible for most of the business hotels in Japan. Despite being on the first floor (floor 2) there was no sound from outside (a car park), no sound from any neighbours. The onsen was a major highlight open throughout afternoon, night and early morning so one can avoid the crowds. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Akita."

"Short walking distance from Akita station. Room was nice, but very basic. View was of the building, but I don't mind not having a view. Close to 7-11 which is inbetween the hotel and the station."

"I like the hotel. Very clean and cosy. Their workers were all friendly, polite and nice. Very satisfied. Only thing I would ask for would be the lotion. I wish they had little lotion packs included in their aminity. Weather is dry now, so I went out to get mine, but if they had in the bathroom, that would have been nice. 😊"
