"The whaler was incredibly cute! The room felt renovated and new inside. Spacious, the most comfortable bed and pillows, amazing tiny balcony overlooking the ocean (from across the street) and a basket of local treats from Oregon. There was a breakfast food truck in the morning and endless supplies of coffee at the check in/out area. Would definitely stay again! "

"This was the best experience with a hotel I’ve had in a while. It was our anniversary and they left a bottle of champagne, hand written note and a message in a bottle. The staff was so friendly. Unfortunately at the time we were there the TV service was not working but they had a huge library of movies. "

"Great location, views and beach access. The condo/cottage we stayed in could use a bit of updating. There was no soap to wash our hands, trash can liners and the dishwasher was full of dishes when we arrived. Staff was very nice. Overall, great location and would probably stay here again. "

"What a great find this was!. Once you get past the fishy harbor smells and the barking sea lions, this place is a gem. Randy is a super gracious host. The room was impeccably clean. "This is a decent little apartment right on the beach with nice views. The back sliding door windows facing the beach in Unit 2 are not clear because there is some residue of some sort on them blurring the view. Other units don't have this problem. Other than that, the proximity to the beach and views from other windows are great. The apartment is right on the highway so road noise is a factor, though on the ocean side, you will hear the ocean."
