"We had a lovely time and the hospitality was great . Hotel was quiet and clean and the restaurant was great for drinks and food ! The only down fall was the full menu wasn’t available due to a kitchen staff shortage . "

"First impression was excellent. Very attractive and landscaping is gorgeous. Water for shower was lukewarm at best and electrical outlet old. Wouldn’t hold plug in from curling iron - old. Carpet in areas worn. Arrangement with finer next door for $7/dinner. Food was excellent!! Free breakfast buffet was okay. Satisfactory. Diner is clean and had good service. "

"We stopped here on our drive from California to Texas. We pulled in late at night but the front desk attendant was cheerful. She only had rooms on the second and third floor and the elevator was broken. We chose to stay anyway because we were so tired. We hauled all our luggage up 2 flights of stairs by when we got to the room we were very happy. It was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great the next morning. We would definitely stay again."

"The Hilton Garden Inn Bakersfield was as expected. Looked like any other Hilton Garden Inn as to be expected. The check in was quick for us but with only Devon Cherry on the desk a line quickly formed. Devon was excellent and we felt welcome. The stay was nice the room was great. Thought I booked a king bed, but the queens were good. Nothing to cry about. Hotel was full on Sunday but still relatively quiet. Staff was great. Thank you to Devon, Liz, and Diana for taking care of us for this stay. "
