"The AC Marriott Downtown is a solid hotel with an EXCELLENT staff. The lobby, bar, and rooms are clean and tidy. I was initially disappointed to find our rooms right off of the elevators (ugh!), but was pleasantly surprised by the soundproofing of the doors. Not thick enough to block the boisterous evening conversation of our next door neighbors when they came in for the evening, but I did NOT hear the elevator dinging or opening and closing all night. Definite plus! It’s only a couple of blocks...

"The hotel is decorated in a simple, beautiful, Japanese style. The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the chocolate lava cake exquisite. The large soaking pools were spotless and very relaxing. Highly recommended, we will return next time we visit family in the area. "
