"Overall a really nice stay, staff aren't around much but when you do see them they are very pleasant and accommodating. House keeping went over and above and extras (like soap and coffee) are easy to obtain being on a shelf just outside the rooms. Room service is from the cafe down stairs and the food was amazing, the young lady that brought the food up was so nice and helpful. This will be my go to place next time we are in S.A"

"The property is undergoing a full renovation. Cute sized rooms with a small verandah overlooking the roses and vineyards. New styled rooms. Keeping with the retro theme. Beautiful gardens. Over 30 thousand rose bushes. Beautiful garden trails. Just peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. Next door the Barossa Chateau with gift shop, tour antiques and delicious high tea. Both hotel owners and Barossa Chateau owners made us welcome."

"Stayed in Safari tent. Located in a secluded area with amenities only for those staying in tents. Positioned around a shared lounge area with sofa, tables etc. Beautiful done, with rooftop and side screens to cater for all weather. BBQ area (little challenging to clean tools as they were attached to the BBQ). Kitchen towel and cleaner provider, although unfortunately the previous users failed to clean so we did have a job. "Pro - excellent location re view, good size rooms Cons - terrible booking system, owner has no idea what she’s doing re booking systems. Thank goodness for the excellent cleaner who happened to be there and was able to sort rooms out for guests. Breakfast was appalling, so cleaner offered pancakes! Such a shame that owner doesn’t look after the place as it could be lovely. One cpl arrived and had no room despite having a printed confirmation!!"
