"Must book a room with Mountain View. The view is amazing. Room is much spacious than I expected. Clean & Neat. All the staffs (including the cleaners) are super friendly and helpful. I am glad that I decided to stay with Hermitage Hotel. Unforgettable experience and highlight of my NZ trip. "

"We had a spotlessly clean room for 3 right next door to the community kitchen. We were also able to put our bottles in the community kitchen to freeze for the next day in our ice chest. Management was extremely friendly and even brought us some ice cubes! The property is walkable to the small shops in town and we saw several restaurants. The property appears older and shares room for RVs and campers though that was no issue. We highly recommend this property! "

"Property would benefit if heat pump installed rather than relying on bar heater. It was cold so heating is a must but a heat pump can be easily controlled to provide a comfortable temperature "

"We were very pleased with Glenfern Villas. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a great covered parking area. This came in very handy since it was pouring rain. The staff was excellent and provided advice when our route was closed due to flooding. "

"The perfect place to stay in Franz-Josef! It's far enough away from the heliport that you aren't constantly disturbed by the noise, but still close enough to town that you can easily get to everything important quickly. Audrey was super friendly and pointed out all the best food spots and other helpful locations. The breakfast was perfect for a quick start before the day's adventures and the room was very spacious and comfortable."

"Great property in the heart of Mount Cook Village. Room was a good size and featured a big bathroom and a small “kitchen” and fridge. There is an upstairs lounge with incredible views and a big kitchen if you want to cook your own meals since the restaurant options are few and expensive in Mount Cook Village. The room was very quiet and also had a big double chair that could be pulled out into a single bed. A great option for less money!"
