Walking to the old part of town and shopping areas took about 10 minutes tops, plenty of cafes in the area too for coffee and pastry if the included breakfast is not your thing/you cant make it (7.30am - 10.30am). Room was fairly small but comfortable and clean. Ours had a nice little balcony too. Only real downside is I struggled to operate the aircon, but thats surely...

"We were immediately welcomed by the receptionist she promptly upgraded our room, they exceeded our expectations in every way possible, this place is amazing, our first time in the area and WoW! We were fortunate enough to meet Anthony the owner and he was so kind and personable he made us feel like family. The hotel is first class in every way, the rooms were large and comfortable, the staff made me feel at home and really were attentive. Would definitely stay here again, such a great place!!"

"Air conditioning not on until summer. The cool evenings would have made it ok except the high speed train is directly behind the hotel and you can’t open the massive doors to the balcony unless you want to listen the rail barreling by without a pattern so could not even anticipate the weird sound like the war of the worlds train scene. The food and grounds were very nice."

I told the staff, they said that there was nothing that they could do. I spent a very uncomfortable night there. "Cannot park at this property although their system was very efficient. Parked 10 minutes away in a garage and was driven to property. 2 minute walk from dropoff. Beautiful 300 year old building converted from convent 20 years ago. Amazing breakfast in beautiful setting . Had a problem with our doorlock but they offered us one night free for the inconvenience . Wanted to change rooms but they were full so compted us the night stay. "The cleanliness was on point and the cleaning lady was really nice. Reception was alright, but I had to wait 2 days for someone to come and fix the shower cable, after I had told them 3 times. Even after the shower cable was ‘fixed’ though, there was still water coming out of the shower plate, which developed a small flooding each time I would shower. That, I had told them too. They did offer another room, but I was staying just for 3 nights, so I declined. Okay, in the overall."
