"Dog friendly there was a grass walkway around the hotel with a number doggies bags and trash cans. That was on top of it being a great friendly hotel and staff in a great location for his humans. Lol"

The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The pool area was pristine, our family enjoy the game room and also the park next to the hotel. "The Escalante is excellente! A real haven right on 5th Avenue and an easy walk to the beach although you don’t need to walk as they provide a cart to take you. The pool area is great too and as there aren’t many rooms, it was easy to get comfortable sun loungers. I have stayed at major chain hotels all over the world and our stay at the Escalente was right up there with the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Parking was easy and the free continental...
