"10 out of 10 there was nothing you could fault. The area is amazing with beautiful scenery. The hotel is stunning. Upon arrival the staff were warm and friendly and this continued through the whole weekend. The room was huge with a massive bed. Clean and a great welcome tray with drinks and biscuits water and more. The shower was amazing overhead shower and the cleanliness perfect. The food is tasty and plentiful piping hot and delicious. "Lovely anniversary stay. We were married here 18 years ago and the standards have never slipped. It’s a great property within the Bolton Abbey Estate. Excellent walks and free spa facilities :)"

"Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was that the dinner menu was the same each night. The staff were very friendly and polite. A very dog friendly hotel too - you had the option to have meals in a nice room with your dog - this isn’t the case in some dog friendly hotels. Would stay again."

"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"Very nice hotel, really friendly staff. Wasn’t sure about the 100% vegan but we didn’t need to eat there. However we did eat in the restaurant as it was so nice, so all in all very enjoyable "
