Room size is quite good compared to many other hotels in this area. Although this is a hotel with a lot of history, the condition of the room we stayed in was pretty good. "Excellent location. We first were put in a “balcony” room overlooking some back streets and office buildings or something. The room smelled of smoke and had cigarette burns in the carpet. Although smoking not allowed. Room was small and depressing. This was already say $550 a night. We upgraded to much larger upgraded balcony room on Champs Elyse cost us $250 more a night but worth it. "
