We stayed here for two days and except for the restaurant and the nice staff there, the service from the front desk put a damper on everything. From the moment we arrived to a grumpy man at the desk who sent us to a small double room instead of the Junior Suite that we had booked and when we insisted on our suite, as we had already paid for it, he was very unpleasant but complied. Then the new door card didn't work---but no apology. I had a shower but the drain was blocked and the entire bathroom flooded. Repeated calls to the front desk for a plumber got no where---it was the cleaning staff the NEXT day who unblocked it, meanwhile we had to have a towel on the floor at the door to dry our feet. When we went to check out the same unpleasant man insisted that we hadn't paid yet, although we had the confirmation payment receipt from Hotel.Com to prove it. It took 40 minutes to sort it out, after intervention from the General manager, which made us late starting our next leg of the trip. We never at any time received an apology for anything. This could be a beautiful hotel if the management was improved.
