"We stayed at Candia Park for the last 3 nights of a delightful vacation in Crete where we sampled 4 different hotels. We had great expectations for Candia based on its appointment as a 4-star resort (and high cost) and the photos on Expedia. We were very disappointed and felt totally overcharged spending so much on a basic room with no amenities. The location is lovely and the grounds are nicely laid but the studio itself was outdated, extremely bare bones, and dark and musty with a patio...

"Beautiful property. Staff could not have been or lovely. Great restaurant and bar. It was a short van ride to a small beach club. Area is quiet, but there was dancing at some dinners. There’s an on site spa. My partner and I loved this place!"

"This hotel has the makings of a great place to holiday. It is close to the resort, just a five minute walk on the flat. The rooms are adequate, may be not 4* and quite dark, certainly not as they appear on the website. Breakfast is ok but is the same every day and after a week is a bit repetitive. Bathrooms great as not all in Greece are. Main letdown was the sunbeds which were very uncomfortable and need replacing to a 4* hotel standard. There isnt enough of them either, but there isn't...
