"Michael is a gentleman, he was very quick to sort out an issue that arose during my stay. He went out of his way to do all he could to make the stay more relaxed and enjoyable. Please don't think you're paying for a hotel room at this price however, what I got I was more than happy with and while lots of people will complain, you get what you pay for. For Liverpool football fans this place is literally right next door! Look out the windows and you can literally reach out and touch the Stadium! "

I had a talk with an assistant via the chat facility on the app, where he informed me I wasn't entitled to a refund as it stated this on the confirmation email. I could accept this if I had cancelled, but the fact that hotels.com took my booking in the first place surely means they are legally required to provide a full refund?
