"the Island is full of ants, bugs, mosquito, gecko, dogs etc. & this house is a very good example of all of that. I had to buy several chemical product to disinfect the whole house but i couldn't kill them all they keep coming back from everywhere. I'turn on the air-con & dead lizard come out from it & land on the pillow below, with a bleeding head & a moving tail. no reception or housekeeping, a guy show up every few days only to change the towels. The house is very empty, not even toilet...

"This is the best place we've ever stayed. The location, relaxed atmosphere, incredible food and friendly staff make it a haven on a beautiful island. The villa rooms are beautifully simple and high end. There are so many spots to relax or spend hours in the sun in with two beaches to access. The standout is the food and drinks (cocktails in particular) on offer at Shantaa. We would come back and stay in a heartbeat. "

Rooms were okay for the high price they charged, our Bathroom at unit, Orchid 4, not that great, cabinet under sink broken and doors held up tape, shower is only a shower head right by toilet. "We stayed at the Me Dee resort for 4 nights in early January in Lodge D16. The Lodge was mediocre. It was clean and the AC was good. The mini fridge is helpful and the beds were comfy. It lacked storage space and was located next to the road, which can be noisy. The shower was absolutely rubbish (terrible pressure), and the lighting in the Bathroom was poor. We managed to get a look of Lodge next door which annoyingly was much nicer! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate and got...

"The staff were really nice and helpful. The only thing I had an issue with was the extra charges. For instance, there is a charge for ice and food to take away. If you break a glass 200 thb. Also the kayaks were at a cost ok no problem (even though I read they were free) but the paddleboards were expensive and they were in a pretty bad state…actually good for the bin as they were missing chunks and really not safe for use. Summing up I would still say this was a very good hotel to stay on the...

"The resort is very friendly while proving and relaxed and chill atmosphere. The staff are very accommodations to the guest ensuring a nice stay. The room had a nice view to the water and a small plunge pool which was very comfortable. Resort offers snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding right off the beach. Recommend for a smaller more intimate getaway while being family friendly. "
