"I gave the property 4 stars for the age of the property, especially in the room (carpet, decor, etc.), and incrediblye tiny-ness of the bathroom-- it's smaller than RV bathrooms but gets the job done. HOWEVER, for the area and for primarily being a ski resort rental, it was way more than adequate and I'd definitely stay there again. "if you are looking for a simple room to stay at in Zermat then this is the perfect place. Everything was up to par, the room was constantly cleaned we always had fresh towels and the hotel staff will bring you a robe and slippers if asked. The ski rental is connected to the hotel therefore we did not have to walk far to rent skis which was extremely convenient. "clean and comfortable room in a small hotel with a great location, however the breakfast was very light. If you are a senior be aware there is no elevator ( we were on the fourth floor) , also if you are over 6 feet watch your head !!!"

"Hotel Alpenblick is super cozy! A 5 minute walk from the starting point to the journey towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. With a “mountain view” room you get an amazing look at the Matterhorn itself. Fabien at reception was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. He took us to the train station at 7:45 AM so we could make the Glacier Express. He was also very easy to talk to and made great conversation. "Very nice discovery with the big sky hotel! Friendly staff, great vibe, nice reception area with games like pool and video games to hang out, free snack around 4pm, ski shop in the hotel with very friendly staff - we enjoyed our 3 days of skiing! The only thing is we were on the ground floor and our room was slightly cold so next time I would ask for a room on another floor. The pool and spa area was a great plus when coming back from a day of skiing. You have to take the car to go skiing but...
