Hotel Debrett is a hotel i choose to stay at regularly when I am in Auckland for business. The hotel is within walking distance to most things you need in the city, there are great dining options at the hotel and nearby, the rooms are spacious with a comphy bed, and most importantly the staff are fantastic greeting you with a smile and always extremely helpful

Quant and retro hotel. Bar is cozy. Room was very hot as air conditioning was not working properly. Breakfast was underwhelming. Scone was advertised as plain but chocolate turned up. Bacon was cut very thick. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable although hard to sleep as hot. Unlikely stay again.

Excellent refurbished hotel.
This is a very old Auckland Hotel that recently had an excellent refurbishment but maintaining quite a retro look. It was very quiet, beds comfortable & usual hotel amenities. We used their private dining room for a family birthday party then stayed the night. Would I stay again? Yes.

Perfect stay!!
Hotel is convenient to harbour and restaurants. Room was sparkling, a lot of tile in bathroom, crystal knobs and mirrors on wardrobe all spotless. Nice amenities and given 1 free drink per person. We needed a scale for suitcases prior to our departure the next day. The reception person brought one the next morning. They really went out of their way to meet all our needs. We greatly appreciated their thoughtful efforts. Highly recommend.
