Thanks to the hotel staff , we had a very memorable trip . The hotel took care of arrangements from the time we were picked up at the airport till we were dropped off. A lot of patience in working with me of best possible activities, restaurant recommendations and also negotiating the best price on some of the tour packages.

I have stayed at Nilya hotel a couple times now and I plan to stay there again soon. It is my favorite place to stay when I’m in the Selcuk/Ephesus area. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in this area.

Property had good view of balloons in the morning. The staff was helpful in the morning but was rude in the evening. The descriptions of the room was not true, we were supposed to have a king size bed and another bed but only had a double bed at most. There is no air conditioning in the room so it was extremely hot. Our jacuzzi in the room stank up the room like rotten eggs and we were not able to use it. Building too far from other things and would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Fairyland Cave Hotel with my wife and 8 year old son. Mehmet, the owner reached out before our visit and helped us arrange our hot air balloon adventure for a price less than we could find online and gave us splendid recommendations for sightseeing in the area (we had our own rental car). Equally important, the hotel and location were beautiful and atmosphere quite serene. Mehmet showed us old pictures of how he renovated the old caves into this beautiful hotel, it was quite amazing! We travel the world extensively and highly recommend this hotel.

We liked the location because the balloons went right over the property. There are a lot of steps to go up to the property. If you are not able to climb a lot of steps it would not be a good fit. The owner offered to drive us to restaurants in town. The rooms are very unique and the bathrooms have a lot of room.

The host was more than a friend. He was very helpful & went out of his way to book all our transfers, dinner bookings, dinner show & excursions. Beyond our expectations. We will visit again with the family for sure. We felt like our home & was very relaxed. "Joy " was the icing to the cake !!!

Great base for exploring Cappadocia
Stay was absolutely amazing! Mehmet, the owner, does everything he can to help you, breakfast is delicious, the location is perfect for watching balloons at sunrise and the sunset, lots of hiking nearby... Was very sad to leave! Tip: if you are not driving in, cabs usually only bring you to the bottom of the hill, so you will need to carry your luggage up a large flight of stairs yourself. The hotel can arrange a shuttle from the airport for you (fee) which will bring you right to the entrance.

A great little gem
The owner was very helpful and arranged almost all our time here and we packed a lot in. I only wish I had longer. Room was spotless and everything in place. Only small thing was a light not working and one shower door missing although it was is a massive bathroom that was fully tiled so no issues with water from the shower. The area is a little quite out of season but just enough open within walking distance as well as restaurants willing to give you a free lift

Amazing! So much more than a balloon ride!!
Absolutely the highlight of our trip to Turkey. Beautiful hotel set at the highest point in Cavusin. Mehmet and Bulent are great people, helped with our tours and balloon ride, and made us feel like we were old friends. The Fairyland Cave Hotel was a welcome bit of peace and quiet after the craziness of Istanbul. Be sure to explore the old church in the cave just 50 yards from the hotel as well as the valley over the ridge behind the hotel. Wish we would have spent an extra couple days there as there was so much more we would have like to explore. Overall I can't believe there is any better place to stay in all of Cappadocia. Plan 3 or 4 days at least, you won't be sorry!

the hotel is located in a beautiful picturesque location. the room was big and very nice but since those are real caves, it was very humid. the hotel is a bit far from any nearest town center, so you need a car to get there, if you want. the most unpleasant situation was the we were told that due to expedia;s mistake, the room we booked was not available and we had to pay more for the room, although in email we were told it would not be the case. totally unprofessional and shortsighted. some other unpleasant ways of handling extras and also other surprising charges. so make sure you ask what you need to pay for what, even if you think you are invited :) also, the way information about restaurants or other activities in town shared with us, was very biased!! lots of self-interest involved. so try to get as much information about where to go and what to do independent of the hotel. do your own research in advance.

We left the hotel after 1 day even though we have paid for 2 nights. The hotel has dogs which is placed in the mittle of the hotel, they make a lot of noise so it is hard to sleep. The hotel is nice, but they should place their dogs another place. The view of the balloons in the morning was amazing.
