Close to the main sights in Bamberg
The hotel is in a great location within a few hundred metres of the main sights of Bamberg. There is a great selection of places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast was tasty, the staff were helpful and the room had a nice combination of rustic decor and modern fittings.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, decent restaurant. The rooms were small, but clean and comfortable (the only downside to the rooms was that there was a lot of street noise which might keep light sleepers awake). Parking not on premises. Much to see and do within easy walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was good and the area around the hotel is perfect for exploring Bamberg. The location is close to everything you want to see.

Nice small hotel in the center of town
Great friendly staff, excellent location (walkable to tons of shops and restaurants), good breakfast buffet. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was very clean and was an excellent value. Definitely would recommend this place.

Good stay
The hotel is situated in the old town hence a distance from the train station, but it's a walkable 10 - 15 mins stroll. Resturants, food and drinks available along the streets. Places of interest within walkable distance. Hotel staffs were friendly. Generally no complaints.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Only complaint is the lack of shower head. Hotel is in a great central location, although the downside of that was the late night bar noises from the street.

Central location close to bars and restaurants, downside is that it's quite noisy at night time. Friendly staff. Slightly dated interior and rooms, no air conditioning. Typical breakfast included. Potential charge if checking in after 10pm (however not requested in my case).

AWESOME location - choose your room wisely.
AWESOME location - but beware of where your room is! We were right above the beer garden and all the smoke came into our non-smoking room. With no A/C and the end of July, closing those windows to avoid the smoke was HOT.

We didn't mind the kitchy tiles in the bathroom and the typical wooden feel of Franconia although this hotel looked a bit outdated and old fashioned. It was very clean, free breakfast was very good and the central location made it an excellent spot to visit Bamberg.
