"A wonderful but ageing hotel. Staff are courteous and very professional. Rooms are great and spacious. However, the hotel in general is looking old and in need of a refurbishment, especially considered the £155 price tag. In BKK it faces stiff competition. Still a wonderful grand old lady of a hotel. Restaurants, boat shuttle, spacious rooms, and on-river restaurants are its strong points."

They initially said no king size beds were available at all but eventually found us a room with a king size (upgraded room type).
