"Another guaranteed lovely stay at the New Southlands. We had a quiet, comfortable room and, although dated, is spotlessly clean, well maintained and with new bedding and towels. The staff are so friendly and genuinely want you to have a lovely stay with them, I would always recommend it if you are visiting Scarborough. It's up on the South Cliff, but a short walk to the centre and you can go via the main road which is all flat and accessible. If you are more mobile, it's a short walk to the beautiful gardens, which lead down to the Spa Theatre and the seafront. Plenty of free parking within 5 minutes walk, but the hotel do have a first come first served car park, at an additional cost, if you want your car nearby."

"On arrival very friendly we was too early put we was able to park up. Central for shopping with good choice of shops socialising parking. "

"Our room was very comfortable and clean with tea/coffee making facilities and hand soap/shower gel dispensers. The bed was very comfortable. We did not encounter any noise from other guest, it was very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, all in all we had a really good stay and the food was amazing and plenty of choice."
