This was beautiful from the outside. I attended mass there. It was quite bleak except for the painting in the dome. Had I paid I would have been very disappointed as it wouldn’t have been worth paying and the queues were very long.
Well worth the visit - lots of art, frescoes. Tombs and memorials of the 'big names'. Leather factory on site. Beautiful square outside for coffee/people watching.
