Avoid pushy unofficial ticket sellers for the Statue of Liberty - especially for a cruise on a boat called the queen of hearts

Don't buy tickets from anyone in battery park. all official reliable tickets are purchased from castle Clinton for statue of liberty. make sure your on the right hand side of the boat going and left side coming back. The monument itself is smaller than i anticipated and we didn't get off the boat to walk around the island.

This a must visit a lovely park to walk around or sit , and you must visit the glass carousel even as an adult I found it magical
