"We stayed at the Posada del Mar three different times during our month in the Galapagos and really enjoyed our visits. It is on a quiet street, yet conveniently located near restaurants, shops and the Puerto Ayora harbor. The delicious breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the harbor. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean, with air conditioning, a private bathroom and lots of hot water. The staff is very friendly. Carlos and his wife were wonderful and let us store our luggage at the office during the hours between checkout and our ferry departures and arranged for a taxi to take us to the Baltra airport. "Captain Max B & B is great. Located in a quiet area but only a few blocks from the center of restaurants, shopping, and the pier. The amenities are great like all day coffee/tea bar, filtered water, a safe in the room, and a carafe of drinking water in your room. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. My only regret was that I couldn’t stay longer. This place is good value for the price. It is a must stay place if you are in Puerto Ayora."

For a fee, they conveniently arrange transportation to and from Baltar Airport, which made our trip even smoother. Additionally, they provide free clean cold/hot drinking water and coffee for guests downstairs, which was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!"

"We had an amazing stay at Maidith Galapagos in Puerto Ayora! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The host was outstanding—incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with arranging tours, cabs, and sharing great local recommendations. Our room was beautiful, well-appointed, and kept spotless thanks to the exceptional maid service. One of the highlights of our stay was the included breakfast—10 out of 10! Each morning featured a delicious, different hot meal, freshly prepared and beautifully served. The location was perfect—just a few blocks from the center of town, close enough to everything while still feeling peaceful and quiet. The hotel itself is charming, with lovely design touches and a small pool in the courtyard that adds a relaxing, tropical vibe. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Santa Cruz!
