"Stop off on the way back from the alps"

"This is a very basic apartment and has a very odd damp/mouldy/unaired smell on entering & a little dusty but it was fine & had everything you could need for a short break including an iron & board, hairdryer and kitchen equipment including a coffee maker, toaster & microwave. It was quite small but was enough for 2 adults & a teen. Parking was included & the car was outside the apartment so easy access & secure. Fabulous communication and easy access to keys etc and we were given entry 2 hrs...

For example, there was a beautiful marble setting but the heating was not on and there was no clear way of controlling the temperature in the room which was in a cold downstairs location. On a previous visit in a cheaper room we had an iron provided , a functioning coffee machine and milk and a larger table. This was a warm cosy room.The coffee machine this time did not work. "We have stayed here on numerous occasions as only about 40mins from the tunnel . Wonderful quiet location, beautiful house and lovely owner. Very comfortable beds. "

"Really nice hotel and in a great location just 45 mins from Calais. The room was great and overlooked fields and had a really nice balcony. Dinner was great and the wine choices were good too. The pool was amazing, just what was needed after a long drive. Everything was extremely clean and very well looked after. Lovely stay"
