"The staff was friendly and very helpful. One challenge was that some rooms were not accessible by elevator. Once the elevator reached a floor, the rooms were up another half flight of steps. It was challenging for me who is a senior adult to get a suitcase up that half flight. I had to take it slow but managed okay. They did upgrade us which was so nice but it’s the little things like having hooks to hang your towel in the bathroom, they ask you to reuse your towels then there should be some where to hang them. Unfortunately I found the downstairs bed to be lumpy and that I was pretty sore when I woke up in the morning. My sister slept upstairs and said that hers was fine. "This is not a big chain hotel with cookie-cutter amenities and sterile facilities. It presents as a family run, quaint, quiet and comfortable place to stay while exploring Normandy. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The facility is not brand new, but is well-maintained. I would and will stay here again."
