"The property is a lovely looking building with lots of character and quite eclectic inside. I have to say that the owner Leo was a strange character who barely mumbled 3 sentences during our stay. He didn't ask how we slept, if everything was ok with our room etc, no conversation at all which felt very uncomfortable. However the breakfast he served was nice and well cooked."

"Nice hotel, bit dated but the rooms were nice, clean and cosy. I just booked an overnight stay (no breakfast). It was a 1/2 drive though to Thornhill park and ride."

We came expecting a clean, tidy and functional place to stay for the Grand Prix and that's what we got. Perfectly acceptable, clean and we got a good nights sleep every night while there. "

"Staff and service was great didn’t need to wave anyone down for anything they really couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel itself was very clean and well kept. The food was a little underwhelming, however; this doesn't mean it wasn’t nice, just had a little higher expectation based on other reviews. "I booked the hotel for a work trip so budget was in mind. Having seen that the hotel had an overall rating of 7 and GOOD I thought it would be ok, but nothing swanky. On arrival I was disappointed, yes I knew it was on an estate but it is rough. Broken wall on entry and an old mattress by the bins in the carpark. I did get an upgrade to my room which was nice ..... The place looks tired, my room basic and uninspiring, the windows did not shut/seal properly and my shower cold and bathroom small...
