"I wish the hotel is closer to the central station as others. The hotel is about 1.5 km away from the central station. I need to take a 5 min bus and walk about 10 minutes to get to the hotel. If you have a car, the location will be good because you have a parking space. If you travel by train, it will be much easier to stay closer to the central station. Room size and cleanliness are ok. "

"Very nice hotel, that gives a feeling of living in an old palace. Well designed and decorated. Very clean and comfortable. We were the only visitors in spa so enjoyed all of it fully. The food in Tai restaurant was the best I ever tried from the Asian places, that I visited before. "

"God service hele vejen rundt i hotellet. Godt spa, god restaurant. Men lille værelse, til prisen. Glad for vi havde bonusnat at indløse ellers ikke pengene værd, til den lille størrelse værelse. Mangler flere knager i værelse, til ophæng af badekåber og måske en stol at sidde på. Kloak/vvs gik i stykker i morges så toilet blev fyldt med vand og brusekabine samt håndvask stod og boblede med vand. Derfor nødt til at bruge toilet på gangen i underetagen."

Some things were surprising though in a hotel of this quality - the curtains not being of sufficient quality to keep out any of the bright sunlight, the only way to turn on the fan was by climbing up on the bed, the tv remote not working. "Located right in the centre of Helsingborg, the V Hotel provided us with cleanliness, polite and tentative staff and a room which was on the smaller side compared to normal. However, from previous experience from staying within Scandinavia, we knew this was normal. A vast array of typical and Scandinavian breakfast items were available in the mornings and it even lasted until 11am! This was perfect for me and my fiancé as we like to eat later in the mornings. One small feature we did enjoy...

"Been traveling around the Europe about 3 weeks, this is by far the best one we have stayed with given the similar price range we paid. Price is reasonable, room is clean, staff are very nice. I guess it is not within the city center, but the train service is convenient. So the location is not an issue to us. "
