Great location in downtown Boone NC. Rooftop bar nice. Room was very nice. Two things not so great.1) No window at least in our room. 2) paying for parking in a gravel lot down behind hotel across a street. A good 100 yard walk up hill to get to hotel.over all I would still give a 3.5 out of 5 rating.

We stayed here because it is close to the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country. The room was comfortable. The room had giant slabs of wood in the bedroom and the bathroom. Nicely decorated room. Coffee down the hall. Breakfast was very good and filling.

It was easy to visit our daughter who attends App State. We took our dog with us and she did well. The hotel room included dog bowls and treats, which was very helpful. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
