I had a wonderful first stay at CitizenM Back Bay. The lobby offered many power outlets & different types of seating options. My in room experience met my expectations for a brand new citizen M - everything in working order, comfy bed, clean and amazing view of the Charles River.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The room was the quietest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel before. The blackout blinds and ambient lighting were perfect for sleep. I would definitely stay here again and seek out this hotel for other trips.

My first time staying at a CitizenM hotel and it will def not be my last! The vibes are immaculate from the moment you walk in the lobby! The aesthetic is very captivating there's funky art, books and statues in the "living room" The staff are super friendly, informative and helpful! The rooms are a wee bit tiny but if its just you & or maybe one another person very easy to navigate! The systems are futuristic and technology based so everything is controlled by tablet! All in all a very cool place to stay!! 10/10 highly recommend checking it out!!

The mattress was hard and the pillows were soft. It was an uncomfortable sleep. The room seemed sparse and unwelcoming in spite of the kitchy decor. The rates were high, and I had to pay extra for breakfast – what the heck! Not even a cup of coffee for free. I also found it awkward to have to go up two elevators every time I came in and out of the building. Did not love it.

Very clean, friendly staff, convenient location. The rooms were high tech and controlled by an iPad, but also had light switches if you didn’t want to use them. Rooms were a bit small but laid out well. Will be visiting again!

Fun place! Tiny functional rooms with a huge colorful common area to hang out. I loved it! Great location for walking around Boston and getting into Cambridge.

The hotel was very nice and super clean with friendly staff and I liked the easy check in but the shades were on an iPad which would randomly open and close or the control would just not work sometimes. Throughout the night even if you put the room in dream mode the tv will turn on so we had to unplug it completely. We paid the extra 60$ for a late check out and were woken by staff knocking on the door and even coming in with the sign on the door.

Great location, walkable and fun decor. Great live band in the plazas... The room size is crazy small and bathroom is like being on a cruise ship... other wise all good.
