The hotel has a map of eateries, so you can sample Javanese cuisine. Rooms are spacious with large beds. I believe most rooms have a balcony so it's nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy Salatiga's relatively fresh air. Added bonus if your room is facing Mt Merbabu/Mt Merapi like mine was. "Local people are very warm n helpful.The hotel did not provide my package with breakfast but no worries, many local foods nearby along the road which is tasty n cheep.Since I can communicate in Bahasa indo we managed to travel most of the trip on local bus n tricycle which is a big saving.
