"Mercure Brisbane is consistently good. I have stayed there a few times. I was impressed how quickly they managed to find the items I forgot in my room for me, such as my jacket left in the wardrobe and which I needed to have for my return to a much colder Melbourne. I also think it is great they don't take more than a $1 deposit and just swipe the card. When you travel a lot and the budget is constrained, those hotels that take $50 or even as much as $100 a night make your travels difficult. I...
