"It was very close to shopping and restaurants. Parking was very limited. Had to park on the street at night. Flies in the room. The pull-out single bed couch was full of stains. The staff was helpful. No phone or fridge in the room. Had a nice selection of tea and coffee in the room with adequate creamers and sugars."

"Just enjoyed a 3 night stay at Park Lodge. We were very happy with the overall appearance of the hotel and the staff were excellent. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the decor was good. The bathroom was a little on the cozy side, but functional, although I think a large person would struggle with the basin being very close to the sink. A slight downside (not the fault of the hotel) was the main road running outside our window. Lorries were trundling...

"Lovely well-positioned hotel on the sea front. Friendly staff and good choice of food for breakfast which was cooked to order. Had an evening meal too which was also very good. Downside is there is no lift so climbing up to the second floor was an effort (we are in our 70's) but we did know this before we arrived so can't complain."
