"I booked Essex Resort & Spa at the last minute because its convenient location for my visit purpose. This is the first hotel that provided robes for pool and outdoor hot tub. Super nice to use to go out to the hot tub in freezing night and more so coming out of it. Shows how carefully they thought about guest comfort. It was exhilarating after 200 mile drive up from Boston to attend my grandson's state Lego robotics championship. I will be sure stay here again when I am in the area. King suite was very roomy with fully stocked kitchenette and gas fireplace at a very reasonable upcharge."

"This is a quintessential inn located in the heart of the lovely Stowe! Where to start. Excellent room, quaint but updated. Lots of space and the gas fireplace really was wonderful. Gorgeous indoor/outdoor hot tub and spa option. We loved the hot tub outside after a day skiing. Location is unbeatable. In the heart of Stowe, lots going on and a good restaurant within it too. The shuttle to the mountain is right across the street making the trip to Stowe to ski so easy. Stowe is really a lovely town and this inn made our experience that much better. "

"Went with family of 5 for ski and we had a great weekend, rooms are nice and comfortable, I did not have a chance to try warm pool but next time! breakfast were basic but good, overall is a nice place to stay! "
