"A lovely clean hotel. Fast check in. Breakfast limited but everything you need and really tasty. Just a shame about the 5am wake up call by noisy guests but can't overly blame the hotel for that one. A bit stingy with tea/coffee in room"

"Very good position from centre of York. Staff very Helpful. Really lovely room. Only downside, we were in Minster facing room 7th floor excellent views, but pubs across the river quite noisy. But overall excellent stay. "

"Been greated by the door men/concierge, checking in and been shown to your room was lovely and welcoming. All the staff are friendly and happy to have a conversation. Breakfast is very comprehensive and first class. The rooms are large ,well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Any issues are dealt with immediately to your satisfaction. The spa is just great and everything works properly. We would certainly go again and recommend it to anyone. "
