"We liked the whirlpool and facilities at the reception - The receptionist was efficient and helpful. Access from the parking to the room was convenient. Traffic was noisy in the daytime ( a truck route) , but quiet at night. The room had chairs and a table for office work or meals. Although the motel was older, it was recently updated with paint, tiles and fixtures. It could have used more hangers. The location was convenient to Highway 1 and McDonald's but was not near downtown. "

"We didn't read the reviews before reserving. When I walked into the cabin, I immediately second guessed our choice. It is very rustic. The windows and coverings are old. The locks for the door are terrible. There are only 2 outlets in the whole cabin. The bathroom was long and skinny. We had to slide past the sink to get to the toilet and shower. "Very fun place to stay. We did it at the end of a week long trip doing lots of camping and it was great to not have to set up the tent and use a real bed. The bunkies are definitely more just for sleeping but the common areas are great to hang out in. I would have given 5 stars but visitors should be aware there are two off leash dogs on the property if they’re bringing their pet. One of the dogs can be quite territorial. It came up to ours who was on leash and attempted to assert itself. The...
