"I was nervous when I first arrived because lobby area was hot ( june in NM is no joke ) But the A/C in the room was nice & cold! Almost too cold sometimes! Had to adjust temperature. Beds are comfy room was clean. A/C worked well. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Artesia is not a pretty area and there’s nothing to do but sweat in the heat and dust storms. But this hotel was great. "

On this visit, the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance, from the looks of things it may be down for a while. The kids were really bummed out about that. If the pool is important, probably best to inquire if it's open or not before booking."
