"Great location, close to the central square. The hotel is basic but that is reflected in the price. The rooms are entirely adequate, clean and warm. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like a decent continental offering. You check in via a machine at the front door at which point you pay and receive a code to access the hotel and your room; we therefore had no cause to deal with any hotel staff - no issue with any of that, the system worked well. "No dinner service because it was a weekend. Came down for breakfast around 7:30-8:00 and every table had dirty dishes on it, while staff were just hanging out at the front desk. I had to bus a table myself then scramble around looking for clean dishes to eat on. Noticed staff pointing at me and talking about me rather than helping me. Worst service I had my entire 3 week trip to 3 countries."

"You get what you pay for. Very clean and friendly reception staff. On a commercial site so plenty of shopping and food outlets. Easy to get into Castres city and cheap enough to park."
