"Casa Provenza Rooms is a hidden jewel as a small property with only 5 rooms. I finally picked in my search for the previous reviews and its location right in the center of Catania, where you can stroll and walk to reach anywhere of interests within 30 min. The owner Antonella took great care of my stay with heart and offered many local and regional tourism advice. "This place was great. They go out of their way to make the stay comfy. Valet parking; restaurant and breakfast were stellar. They keep the place real clean and leave you a treat on your pillow. There are great views on the rooftop terrace in the restaurant. The price was very reasonable as well. "

"Ivana's B&B is in an excellent location. It is walking distance to the sites as well as great restaurants (and gelato!). Note that it is a B&B, but you are left to yourself once checked in. Ivana was great and helped me with free street parking, which can be a hassle if you're not local!"

"We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. Sadly the room smelled of feet and we had no toilet seat and had request one.One of the main reasons for booking was the jacuzzi, however we later found it was €30 per couple per hour to use. "Great location and excellent staff. Hotel rooms were nice but were obviously ageing, peeling paint and poor quality shower heads. That being said, was still worth staying for a day or so, but would be difficult to stay here for days on end. Otherwise a great experience. "

"The room is very nice and spacious. Comfortable bed and very good bathroom facilities. We didn't have the breakfast option so can't comment on that but the host is very considerate so it would probably be good It was lovely to stay in a traditional Sicilian house. 50 steps to the front door so if you aren't physically fit, this might not be for you. Close to the bus station and the train station. Can't comment on parking."
