"The hotel in general is comfortable, modern, and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is in a good position in Ferrol with easy access. It has off the road parking both undercover (€7 a day) and free gated. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet with lots of choice including bacon and eggs. There was a problem with the staff as the cook had had an accident so it was not possible to have any hot food in the evening. "Only stayed 1 night on business but what a place. Quiet location but close to Viveiro. Homecooked food depending on what is growing / farmed locally. 500 years old but extended and beuatifully maintained. Full of character. Beautiful gardens. Manageress was brilliant and very friendly. I would thoroughly recomment a stay there not matter how long. I intend to return next year with my wife for a holiday in the area."

"The hotel was easy to get to. The guy at the front desk was helpful and pointed out a nice walking trail and good restaurants. The only problem we ran into was that they weren’t at the desk when we wanted to check-in and then he couldn’t be reached by phone. But after we came back a couple of hours later he was there. "

Followed instructions to ring before arriving but couldn’t get through as wrong number on information details. Hotels .com helpline poor and spent 40 minutes trying to sort with them. "
