"The hotel was built in 1930 and still has the snazzy feel of that era - including the fancy “lift” aka “elevator” - although the hotel’s been updated in various ways. The room was a bit small contrasted with modern hotels, but was more than adequate for this solo motorcycle rider. The “Continental breakfast” was one of the best I’ve ever had (thanks to LONG TIME employee Linda). Overall I found the hotel fairly fascinating and well worth the money - but DON’T bring a pet unless you’re prepared...

"What a different type of motel. We got to watch Transformers at the drive in from our bed. We could adjust the sound in our room. What a neat concept. It was a very nice motel with a nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again."

"Watching a movie on a big screen (former drive in) outside under the stars sitting in a folding chair with a down blanket and popcorn/ fabulous!!!! Worth the effort. I don’t like the trend of no on site managers and no response to email but i understand from an economic point of view it is necessary. Some emails were answered and some went unanswered. It’s a well taken care of property. "
