"Let me first start off by saying I love this property. The room I has was very nice and very roomy. The staff was great, 5 stars all around. The only negative I have is that on the side my room was located was the highway and it just seemed some of the cars were extremely loud at night. It's possible it wasn't any louder and I'm just not used to hearing them like that. But even with that, it's still a great location."

"The hotel was nice, but not amazing. There was a problem. One morning, a fire alarm did go off and the hotel was evacuated. Luckily there was not a fire and the guests returned. but the staff did not help the guests, guide the guests and it was discovered that on one of the upper floors an exit door was locked and the guest had to take the elevator to the lobby during the evacuation. Concerning."

"My best friend stayed at the Emeline during a girl's weekend in Charleston. We plan to return!!! The location was excellent. No more than a 20-minute walk to the best restaurants and attractions. We loved the hotel restaurant/bar and spent several hours lounging on the couches in the courtyard sipping bourbon. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Cannot say anything negative about this place."
