"Very pleased overnight stay on the way south. Easy access from A20 with plenty of parking. We didn’t bring the electric car this time but would have been well served with the exceptional number of charging points. Large garden was appreciated by our golden retriever and we enjoyed the large, well-equipped room. Excellent dinner but breakfast not at the same high level."

A kind gentleman answered and informed that room was ready with door left unlocked and key on the bed. The hotel has a quaint feel to it. "I took a side trip to Châteauroux between matches of the World Cup Soccer tournament so I could spend two days visiting the Brenne Nature Reserve. Of the six hotels I’ve stayed at on this trip, this one has been easily the best. Terrific hosts, good breakfast and dinner service, and a top-rate room at a very reasonable rate. A good walkable location in the city center as well."
