We’ve got the lowdown on how to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you’ll be breezing through airport security and having a blast in Hoa Lu in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a great experience if you’ve got all the right stuff. Firstly, you’ll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh set of clothes and something to read. Next, leave space in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, your medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don’t forget to take your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don’t have a pocket knife hiding in the bottom of your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include flammable or explosive substances, such as aerosol cans and fuel, and gels and liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be your priority when deciding what to wear on board. Consider your choice of footwear with care too, as swelling of the feet and ankles can be a side effect of flying. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are always a sensible way to go.
- You’ve probably heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. There’s lots you can do to reduce your risk. Wear a quality pair of compression tights or socks, drink lots of water often and move your legs and feet. Wander around the cabin or perform some simple exercises in your seat.
