"Room is very inconvenient, the only furniture is the bunk bed and locker. There’s no elevated surface to put items on. There is only luggage elevator which you’d still need to lift your baggages to put them in. Staff were great, they recommended us a lot of places to visit. The shared kitchen and hang out spaces are nice too. I’d only recommend this for solo travelers."

"As far as Alishan accommodation goes, this is likely far and away the nicest option. And it very well should be considering what they’re charging per night. Compared to another hotel I stayed at the night before in Alishan, this is a 6 star hotel. But compared to a lot of places I’ve stayed at in more expensive cities charging the same amount or less, it’s pretty absurd what they’re asking for. "Really nice quaint quiet place to stay - we didn’t drive so relied on limited transport services (which ran on time) so had to plan around these times. Understandably being on a mountain, dining options are fairly limited. Very friendly and helpful staff! Overall recommend for a good relaxing getaway from your everyday life! "

The best part, though, was the owners Dany and Dora who got in touch a few days before our stay with information regarding getting there and made arrangements accordingly.
