"Akra hotel was a great stay; spacious, clean, and with a dedicated staff. Communication may be a slight issue with some language barriers. This hotel is, however, not very close to many of the attractions or places to visit in Phuket, which is apparent if you look atthe location of the hotel on the map. It's made accessible via Grab. Approximately 45-60 minutes to either old town Phuket or Petang, and further from southern beaches. Some smaller cities are nearby with good beaches & good food."

"This property was clean for the most part. I would go back if I needed to. There was a weird smell in one of the bathrooms and the beds are really hard. Not comfortable at all. However the service was great. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The little food they did have on the menu was really good. Would have preferred more options but all in all a good property for families. The area is okay. On the slower side and lots of food nearby, walking distance. That was great "

"Absolutely loved my stay here for my final 3 days in Phuket. I wanted somewhere i could go out and explore, sit by the beach, enjoy great food, beach clubs...and to then come back and relax in my room. This has it all. "The property is in a good area, it’s clean and the staff are very friendly. Great communication with staff in regards to checking in (arrived on Sunday, office is closed) but got our key on arrival. Downsides: No toothbrushes. 1500 Baht cleaning fee when you leave, they make you pay for electricity... ended up paying an additional $200 unexpectedly as I did not read the fine print. Price isn't as great with this in mind. Quite far from anything nearby. Stay here if you plan to stay in mostly and drink at the pool - not great for local beaches, tourist sights, or restaurants."

Easy walk to beach and cafes. TV pointless, only had Netflix and Youtive and we were geoblocked from using Netflix so used own devices. Check in was tricky, we had to wait outside until the owner gave us the code to get in, then had to wait for a guy to come and take a cash deposit. We did get it...

"Lovely clean modern room. Pool area great for families - there were a lot of families there. Lovely breakfast. Lovely location in the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Only issue was that our son injured himself on an activity set up by the hotel for Song Kran. The injury meant he’s been unable to swim for a week now so it’s really impacted the holiday. The staff were brilliant when we notified them of the injury but when we raised concerns with management about the lack of health and safety...

"Very nice hotel, very safe area, resort style area has a private beach is a plus after experiencing a beach like Patong Beach trust me lol..Hotel staff is very nice I really liked D’Nee very sweet and welcoming!!! Food is very good I mean some of the best food we had so many options..The hotel room was a apartment style 2 bedroom 2 bath with loft and balcony one room has 2 twin bed and the other a king I believe it was..so much storage space..one thing I would highly recommend is if you use small washcloths to just bring your own because they use a bigger towel so it was different, luckily I always come prepared so I brought my own. But I give them a 10/10 for sure."
