"We enjoyed our 1-night stay at The Plantation Resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was relaxing and the bar Manager, Shelly, poured delicious margaritas! Shelly was super sweet. We loved swimming with the manatees in Crystal River and we hope the staff is safe from the recent hurricane. This is an older property, but our room and bathroom was clean, had a mini-fridge, and we ate a delicious breakfast the next day on property. "

"Very friendly staff. Once renovations are done, the lobby will be very nice. Right next to Homosassa Springs you can walk to. Very close to Crystal River. Spacious room. Only thing it could use is a paint job on the bathroom door. Comfortable beds. "

"I don’t like that the rooms don’t have enough towels and wash clothes for 3 people in the 2 bed rooms. Absolutely unacceptable that my mother in law had to use the bath mat for her towel!!"

"Surprisingly clean room and updated bathroom for a roadside motel. Good choices for dining options like bakery next door for breakfast and cedar River seafood for lunch or dinner nearby. A surprising good pizza place at a newly opened, La Pergola in Inverness. "

"It's an older property, used to be a ran down Best western. The plantation is shut down and this place is actually better fees renting a boat so for the price it's not bad. The staff is great. Wish they had pool towels area but it's not that big of a deal. Crystal River got hammered by two Hurricanes and our stay was far better than what I expected "
