"Think the bedroom could do with a bit of a paint same with furniture and bed was quite hard. But other than that beautiful hotel, can see the water feature in reception and a beautiful back garden where you can see the stream. The hotel has a lot of interesting history. Breakfast was amazing would highly recommend that. Thanks again for making our stay worth it."

"This palace is up on a hill and driving up to it took my breath away. Pitlockry is a quaint little town and Atholl is the "Queen" of the quaintness. The building and grounds are exceptional. Be sure to walk all of the grounds and take in the unique gardens and tree lined trails into town and the backside along the creek. A memorable place to stay! "

"Lovely hotel right in the centre of Pitlochry, with shops, restaurants and bars all around. We had a nice big room with a great shower. Breakfasts had lots of choice and were pretty good. As the hotel restaurant was fully booked in the evenings, we ate once at Victoria's nearby. Great hotel."

"Fantastic break. We had 2 "cottages" which were part of a block. They were clean and spacious and set up for 6 people. Parking is convenient, and it is a short walk to the town. Food is good, but the menu is not extensive. Just don't go if you have anatidaephobia (look it up:-)"

"I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. Our cottage was very spacious, clean, airy, great kitchen and despite its perceived isolation had all possible amenities. Very nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. It was beautiful to wake up and walk around the property surrounded by beautiful and quiet scenery. I was expecting a flock of sheep to come by anytime. Despite its isolation, the property is in fact only 5/10 minute by car to Dunkeld where one can find all the amenties, restaurants, pubs, etc. Next time, I will stay one week."
