"The property was well kept, friendly, bright and clean.the housekeeping staff are thoughtful, kind and professional. staff were welcoming and reception speak a number of languages. Do keep in mind the lovely ladies at breakfast don’t speak English (not a problem at all it’s their country after all, but something to be aware of, an opportunity to brush up on your French! The breakfast selection is wonderful and fresh, and there can be a takeaway bag, fork and cup with a lid if you are in a rush or want to eat on the go. the surroundings are a little far from the centre and train station (Lille-Europe & lille-flandres) which is something to be aware of, though there is a metro nearby, and there is another shopping centre not far from the property about a 7 minute walk, and there is a lovely dining restaurant (flunch) inside, which we went to everyday for dinner. there is also an Auchan downstairs in the shopping centre to get supplies from. As well as a pharmacy and other clothes/retail shops. It’s generally quiet and a good experience. Always a pleasure to visit France. Also the Lille Europe station is linked to a shopping centre which has a carrefour in it, about a 10-15 minute walk away so it’s perfect for getting last minute perishables and snacks to bring back with you on the Eurostar in a cool bag. "

"We did book this hotel on the eleventh hour due to o booking error that we made in the original place that we were supposed to be staying. The reception staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful from check in to checkout. The rooms are extremely comfortable, a large size, good climate, very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was very clean, stocked well with a supersized bath tub and fabulous rainfall shower. (I was torn between bath or shower but managed to enjoy both during my stay) The tv also had English channels which in our eye was a bonus. I highly recommend staying for breakfast, the food is delicious which a huge choice of continental dishes as well as hot and cold buffet items for American and British tastes I do recommend visiting the bar, very professional bar tenders, and managed to while away the time in our final hours here. High recommended "

"We only stayed one night but we loved this hotel. Location is ideal, roof terrace was fabulous, staff super friendly, water filter on each floor really appreciated, room nicely decorated and beds comfortable, good breakfast. Only downer was the bad smell of drains in the room :-( a real shame as everything else was perfect."
