"Don't get me wrong, I like this hotel and surrounding area, but this room could do with a little tlc and refresh of paint. There was a coffee stain on carpet, dead spider on upper part of ceiling, scuff marks and dust around skirting and window sill. For a family room that sleeps 4, there were 3 adults but we only had towels for 2 people and only 2 chairs on balcony. That said, I would still stay here again. "

"A very nice and comfortable hotel with excellent grounds. Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was ok but we waited 2 hours for our meal and it was quite expensive. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of good quality food but again, it was really busy and we had to eat in the bar. Pool facilities are good but limited to 1 hour slots."

Food was amazing and they are always making sure the customers are happy and if there is anything they can do to help the customers, was an absolute delight with my dog, he got lots of attention. Food from restaurant was very nice. Hotel only supplies whole milk but when I asked the gentleman at breakfast went above and beyond to get me some semi skimmed which was excellent!! Bar prices are very reasonable. All in all a great stay at the Littleover Lodge! "

"What a great hotel! I booked because of its proximity to Donington Park race circuit and didn't really look at the details. The location is remarkable. Picturesque, next to a river, at the end of a pretty country lane. The room was large, well appointed and clean. It was a hot day but a fan was provided in the room. The pillows are particularly good, as is the shower. Staff were welcoming and food and drink was tasty and reasonably priced. The place has character, free parking too. "
